About the role
My client is a global energy technology company active in large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) and grid-connected energy projects. They are looking to appoint a Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of secure and reliable network infrastructure across utility-scale energy storage projects.
This role sits at the intersection of IT/OT, engineering, and operations, supporting both project delivery and long-term system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain network architectures for utility-scale BESS and renewable energy projects
Support LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers across project sites and offices
Ensure secure communication between BESS, SCADA, EMS, PLCs, and control systems
Work closely with engineering, commissioning, and operations teams during project execution
Troubleshoot network and communication issues during construction, commissioning, and operations
