What you need to know about this position:

  • The Network Engineer – Intermediate works closely with architects, operations and application analysts to ensure network consistency.
  • This role engineers new technologies, makes judgments and takes immediate actions required to maintain service delivery continuity, recommends changes in technology direction, implements agreed to changes to hardware and networks.
  • This position requires the capacity to manage multiple priorities and to communicate complex technical information in clear terms to individuals with minimal experience in technology.
  • This position includes all aspects of network system monitoring, network system administration, troubleshooting, fine-tuning, enhancements and documentation.
  • This position is also involved in new system installs, configurations, and upgrades relative to supported technologies.
