Network Engineer

Position Description

SUMMARY: 

This position is a full time Exempt (salary) position, supporting the JBLM-Mission Training Complex (MTC). The Network Engineer provides network oversight of the Network Team. Coordinates all aspects of the communications architecture and exercise support plans with communications planners at other simulation facilities, the JBLM Network Enterprise Center (NEC), and participating tactical units.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The Network Engineer shall act as the overall communications architect for the MTC with coordination responsibility with outside agencies and other MTC branches. The Network Engineer shall create/establish communications architecture, coordinate communications plans, configure communications equipment, and assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of distributed training exercises.
