**Job Description**
We are looking for a **Network Engineer** to maintenance and upgrade of client applications. This position will be **full-time** and **remote.**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot the following:
+ Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, routers and associated technologies
+ Firewall technologies
+ Routers used for internal routing, ISP connectivity.
+ Enterprise wireless solutions
+ Develop detailed functional specifications, design documents, and test plans.
+ Monitor network performance and integrity.
+ Consult regarding network performance, capacity, and scalability.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve support issues with cloud and local infrastructure.
+ Consult with technical and business partners and serve as a consulting resource to support client-hosted installations and implementations.
+ Work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to define deliverables.
+ Support escalation incidents and support on-call duty requirements.
+ Interface with internal clients such as sales, service, and field staff as well as external clients to define deliverables.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Solid background in network administration and architecture.
+ Strong knowledge and expertise on firewall vendors: Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.
+ Cisco Enterprise Network
+ Networking in virtual platforms
+ Monitoring platforms
+ EIGRP/OSPF
+ GRE tunnels
+ Multi-site/stretched datacenter environments
+ Router configuration management
+ TACACS and other authorization methods
+ Device and networking hardening 802.1x
+ Syslog
+ BGP
The following certifications are desirable.
+ CCNP
+ CMNA
+ PCNSA
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
