Network Engineer *TS/SCI Required

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a federal program out of Springfield, VA. The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting complex network environments, troubleshooting escalated issues and ensuring secure and efficient network operations. ***This role requires an Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance for consideration. ***

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

·Participate in hands-on installation and implementation of network technologies

·Configure and troubleshoot network devices using CLI, deploy patches, and optimizing layer 2/layer 3 protocols

·Support cloud networking technologies such as Azure Virtual Networks and ExpressRoute and integrate with on-prem infrastructure

·Participate in Layer 1 troubleshooting/configuration cable types, media converters, and telco circuits

·Maintain and optimize routers, switches, and firewalls
