Network infrastructure engineer

Role Overview
Highly skilled and self-driven Network & Security Engineer with expertise in designing, installing, maintaining, and evaluating complex network systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, Fortigate firewalls, Cisco Meraki wireless networks, and Velocloud SD-WAN solutions. A strong understanding of cloud security platforms like Zscaler and experience with F5 technologies is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade network infrastructure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching environments.
- Manage Fortigate firewall configurations and policies.
- Deploy and support Cisco Meraki wireless networks.
- Administer Velocloud SD-WAN solutions.
- Evaluate and enhance network performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud security solutions.
- Work independently to resolve complex network issues.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching
- Strong experience with Fortigate Firewalls
- Strong experience with Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi Networks
- Strong experience with Velocloud SD-WAN
- Solid understanding of Cloud Security Solutions (Azure preferred)
- Experience with Network Automation (Python, Ansible)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Should be willing to work on Shifts when required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers / Application Delivery Controllers
- Hands-on with Microsoft Azure Networking & Security
