NTT Data Greece team is looking for a Network Manager in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector.

You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of network security measures. This role ensures the protection of the organization’s digital assets and the integrity of its network infrastructure. You will lead a team of network security professionals and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage.

Your Role:

  • Overseeing the development and implementation of network security policies and procedures. 
  • Managing and mentoring a team of network security engineers. 
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans. 
  • Leading incident response efforts and performing post-incident analysis. 
  • Implementing and maintaining security monitoring tools. 
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage. 
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of network security configurations and procedures. 
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on network security efforts. 
  • Developing and delivering training programs to promote security awareness. 
  • Managing relationships with security vendors and evaluating security solution methods.

    Your profile:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in network security management with a proven track record of managing large-scale network security systems. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informational Technology, or a related field. 
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are preferred. 
  • Extensive experience in overseeing network security policies, protocols, and procedures. 
  • Deep knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption). 
  • Familiarity with security management tools and software. 
  • In-depth understanding of network security best practices, including risk assessment, incident response, and compliance. 
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting complex security issues. 
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and evaluate security solutions. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Fluency in English (B2 level minimum); knowledge of another European language is a plus. 
  • EU citizenship is required.
