The Network Security Engineer will support enterprise-level network security operations, architecture, and implementation for the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.</div> <div> </div> <div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>Design, implement, and support Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall services</div> </li> <li> <div>Configure and manage intrusion detection and prevention, content filtering, VPNs, DLP, and TLS/SSL inspection</div> </li> <li> <div>Support complex Cisco-based switching, routing, and wireless environments</div> </li> <li> <div>Implement and manage reverse proxies and load balancing using A10 Networks</div> </li> <li> <div>Administer Network Access Control using Cisco ISE, FreeRADIUS, and ACLs</div> </li> <li> <div>Implement multifactor authentication and 802.1X authentication for wired and wireless networks</div> </li> <li> <div>Support enterprise routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP</div> </li> <li> <div>Perform vulnerability assessments using Nessus, NMAP, and OS-level security tools</div> </li> <li> <div>Conduct packet and protocol analysis using Wireshark, Opnet, Riverbed, and network taps</div> </li> <li> <div>Manage centralized monitoring and security platforms such as Panorama and SolarWinds</div> </li> <li> <div>Produce technical documentation including network diagrams, design documents, project plans, and user guides</div> </li> <li> <div>Work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior staff</div> </li> <li> <div>Communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver technical presentations</div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Required/Preferred Skills:</b></div> <div><b>Mandatory Qualifications:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>10+ years of CONUS experience in IT networking and network security</div> </li> <li> <div>Associate's degree in an IT-related field</div> </li> <li> <div>Active <b>Palo Alto PCNSA</b> or Palo Alto Network Security Professional certification</div> </li> <li> <div>Active <b>CCNA Enterprise or CCNA Security</b> certification</div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Preferred Certifications (Active or expired within last 3 years):</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>Palo Alto <b>PCNSE</b>, Next-Generation Firewall Engineer, or Network Security Analyst</div> </li> <li> <div><b>CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security</b></div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Experience Requirements:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>5+ years with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, IDPS, VPNs, DLP, and SSL inspection</div> </li> <li> <div>4+ years with Cisco switching, routing, and wireless</div> </li> <li> <div>3+ years with A10 Networks (reverse proxy, load balancing)</div> </li> <li> <div>2+ years with Network Access Control (Cisco ISE, FreeRADIUS, ACLs)</div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Additional Technical Skills:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>Cloud-based virtual networking and security</div> </li> <li> <div>Enterprise micro-segmentation</div> </li> <li> <div>PKI and certificate management</div> </li> <li> <div>Authentication standards (802.1X)</div> </li> <li> <div>Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems</div> </li> </ul> <div> <b>V Group Inc.</b> is a NJ-based IT Services and Products Company with its business strategically categorized in various Business Units including Public Sector, Enterprise Solutions, Professional Services, Ecommerce, Projects, and Products.
