Role: Network Security Engineer

• To complete internal/external infrastructure elements of Operations and Projects which require, Cisco router and switches, multivendor firewall platforms such as Cisco/Fortinet/Checkpoint, and F5 local/global traffic manager appliances.
F5 BIGIP LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM
Configure and troubleshoot VIP’s, pools, SNAT’s profiles, SSL offloading and health monitors
Certificate renewals, VIP provisioning.
Proxy
Web proxy, Secure web gateway and internet access management solutions
URL filtering, SSL inspection, Authentication Integration (AD/LDAP)
Fortinet FW
NAT, VPN(IPSEC/SSL), IPS, Web Filtering, Application Control, URL filtering, High Availabilit
• React quickly and as necessary to live system errors and service problems to minimise downtime and restore service. Key focus will be required upon identification of ro y ot cause and implementation of permanent fix.
• Planning and implementation of small to medium, large change, patching and maintenance activities in line with change management processes and governance.
• Develop in self, knowledge and understanding of systems processes, infrastructure/service development process and specialist areas of technology - be responsible for own learning and development.

• Maintain and troubleshoot network equipment to include routers and switches, perform fault and performance management to ensure services are maintained according to the levels defined;
