Network Security Engineer III – £85k
I'm recruiting for a senior Network Security Engineer to join a global cyber security team. This is a hands-on role owning the design, implementation, and reliability of the organisation's network security platforms across on-prem and Azure environments.
Operating at Assistant Manager level, you'll support junior engineers while remaining technically focused. The role combines network security engineering, control hardening, automation, and some secondary SIEM involvement.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Strong enterprise switching & routing (Aruba OS / Aruba CX)
Hands-on Fortinet experience (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
Firewalls, IPS, WAF, VPN and load balancers
Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, peering, Private Link, VPN/ExpressRoute, App Gateway/WAF)
Network segmentation and access control design
TLS/PKI and SSL certificate lifecycle management
SIEM integration (Microsoft Sentinel preferred)
