Job Description
- Execute operational tasks for network security solutions, including network firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), proxies and web application firewalls (WAF).
- Monitor performance and maintain network security solutions.
- Utilize various tools and solutions to troubleshoot and diagnose network problems.
- Identify and provide insight on WAF violations.
- Post office-hours activation for support and troubleshooting.
- Perform data tabulation and report extraction.
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
