Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Designs and configures network implementations/upgrades
  • Participates as a Subject Matter Expert in architectural design reviews
  • Supports LAN/WAN networking technologies, including F5 load balancer support
  • Performs analysis of various projects and effort estimations
  • Develops configuration management capabilities and documentation practices

Required Technical Skill Set

  • Cisco Nexus 5K/7K, Nexus 9K; experience with Juniper switches
  • F5 Load Balancer, GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls; experience with F5 device upgrades (GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls)
  • VPN, Firewall technologies
  • Ansible automation for various activities across the network
  • Experience in Test, Implement, and Support Advanced Layer-2/3 Switching Solutions
  • Experience in Cisco or Juniper Routing and Switching
  • Knowledge of VRFs, VDCs, AAA, SNMP
