Job Role: Network Support Engineer
Skills: Citrix load balancer, Aruba switches & wireless
Experience: 6 to 8 years

Responsibilities
Configure and manage Citrix ADC (formerly Net Scaler) for load balancing, SSL offloading, content switching, and GSLB.
Implement and manage high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot load balancing and connectivity issues.
Design and implement secure and scalable load balancing architectures.
Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to support enterprise services.
Apply patches, upgrades, and security hardening for Citrix ADC appliances.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams and SOPs.
Perform health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
4–5 years of hands-on experience working with Citrix ADC (Net Scaler) in production environments.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and SSL/TLS protocols.
Experience with load balancing methods (round-robin, least connections, persistence, etc.).
Knowledge of Citrix Gateway (for ICA Proxy, VPN, etc.) and AAA authentication.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Knowledge of web application firewalls (WAF) and application security best practices.
Key responsibilities in Aruba switches & mobility controller
Design, implement, and manage enterprise switching solutions using Aruba CX Series switches (6300, 6400, 8320, 8400 and 2930 F, 2610, 2620).
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/3 protocols, VXLAN/EVPN, OSPF, BGP, VSX, MC-LAG, and stacking technologies.
Implement and manage data center fabric architectures with high availability and scalability.
Support and optimize campus network operations including access, distribution, and core layers.
Monitor and analyze network performance using Aruba Net Edit, Aruba Central, and other monitoring tools.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to align networking strategies with business needs.
Maintain accurate and updated network documentation and diagrams.
Plan and execute firmware upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management of Aruba CX infrastructure.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
Design, implement, and support Aruba Mobility Controllers, Access Points (APs), and Clear Pass solutions.
Configure and maintain Aruba OS features such as role-based access control, authentication, and tunneling.
Monitor wireless performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, roaming, RF interference, and client onboarding.
Work with security teams to ensure WLAN is secure, including integration with RADIUS, Active Directory, and Clear Pass Policy Manager.
Perform software/firmware upgrades and ensure controller stability and performance.
Create and maintain documentation for network design, configuration, and procedures.
Solid understanding of 802.11 protocols, RF planning, and wireless security principles.
Experience with VLANs, routing protocols, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing in large enterprise networks.
Required Skills
ACSA, ACSP, or ACMX – Aruba Certified Switching Expert.
Aruba certifications such as ACMP (Aruba Certified Mobility Professional) or ACSA/ACSP/ACDX are highly desirable.
