Job Description:
We are looking for a Network Support Engineer (L2) with hands-on experience in enterprise network environments. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and managing network infrastructure for a major client.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, configure, and manage firewalls such as FortiGate and Palo Alto.
Handle configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco WLAN Controllers.
Support and troubleshoot IPSec VPN technologies, including DMVPN and FlexVPN (good to have).
Ensure smooth operation and availability of the client’s end-to-end network infrastructure.
Provide L2-level support and coordinate with L3 teams when required.
Technical Skills Required:
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: OSI Model, TCP/IP
Hands-on knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience handling enterprise or large-scale client networks.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to multiple VPN technologies
Experience supporting critical client environments
Requirements
