Neurohospitalist

Overview

Cape Fear Valley Neurology is expanding their Neurology Program with the addition of a BE/BC Neurologist to perform as a Neurohospitalist. The position would be strictly inpatient with no outpatient coverage required. The ideal candidate would be willing to work 7 days on/7 days off from 8 am – 6 pm in the hospital and be available via phone/response for the remaining time of their shift.

Cape Fear Valley Neurology offers state-of-the-art medical care and is equipped to handle a full range of inpatient and outpatient procedures. The group has achieved the Advanced Certification as a Primary Stroke Center under the Joint Commissions Disease-Specific Certification.

Client Description

The cornerstone of Cape Fear Valley Hospital was laid in 1954, and the hospital opened in 1956 as a 200-bed county hospital. Today, the medical center is a robust regional medical center located in the growing metropolitan city of Fayetteville, N.C. (population 200,000) in Cumberland County (population 300,000).
