Position Title: Launch Engineer

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Saltillo Coah.

Provide support for new product launches, adhering to the new program launch procedures and related tasks performed by the Manufacturing Engineer, with the goal of developing the same skills. Create documentation according to plant standards and validate runs in the various plant processes.

  • Develop physical documentation (routings, visual aids, packaging instructions, etc.)
  • Coordinate sample requests for engineering changes.
  • Audit BOMs in all areas.
  • Coordinate and schedule raw materials for initial production runs.
  • Implement improvements in launch and new project areas.
  • Process extraordinary shipment requests.
  • Validate engineering changes on the shop floor.
  • Ensure that Safety, Health, and Environmental programs and policies are implemented in all areas under your control.
