Job Title: Senior Content & News Curator (AI + Video Editing)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Senior Content & News Curator . This role involves writing and curating news and trend stories, leveraging AI tools for content creation, and producing engaging video content for LinkedIn’s India-focused audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Search, write, and curate news or trend stories aligned with LinkedIn News team standards.
• Own the end-to-end process of news creation, curation, and circulation across targeted cities, industries, and functions.
• Create concise and insightful news round-ups for LinkedIn products, including short-form, long-form, and video content using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Curate top conversations on the platform to provide value to relevant members.
• Spot and predict trends important to business readers and LinkedIn members.
• Identify breaking news and curate timely updates.
• Analyze performance using data-driven metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in content writing, news editing, or journalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional Indian languages are a plus).
• Experience with AI tools for content creation and curation (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the creator economy and news industry.
• Experience in online media, news curation, or content creation with a focus on video content.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Descript, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects .
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
