Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in news writing/editing or journalism
  • Hands-on experience working with newspapers or digital news platforms

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Indian languages is a plus)
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to convert insights into actionable outcomes
  • Experience using AI tools for content creation or curation
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Proven stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Solid understanding of the creator economy and news ecosystem
  • Ability to shape stories and products for diverse audiences
  • Experience in online media, news curation, or content creation—especially video-focused content
  • Video editing experience using tools such as Descript, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
