NOC Engineer L2

The Junior L2 NOC Engineer is responsible for 247 monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring stability of ISP network infrastructure including Core, Aggregation, and Access networks. The role handles customer-impacting incidents escalated from L1 and ensures high availability and SLA compliance. Requirements Monitor ISP networks including Internet, ILL, MPLS, Broadband, and Leased Line links Analyze alarms such as link down, latency, packet loss, and flapping Perform L2 troubleshooting on routing (BGP, OSPF, Static), VLAN, IP pools, fiber and last-mile issues Handle enterprise customer tickets and ensure SLA-based restoration Maintain proper documentation, shift handovers, and escalation notes Support basic configuration on routers (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, MikroTik) and switches Perform ACL checks, firewall rule verification, and IP whitelisting/blacklisting
