NOC Engineer / IT Operator - BMC vacancy for our Zürich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
Working in an operational model: 24×7 shift operation
Continuous monitoring of events and alerts across infrastructure, applications, and services
Verification and validation of events, including identification of false positives and duplicates and classification, prioritization, and correlation of events based on predefined criteria
Efficient handling of incidents by applying documented solutions or workarounds for known errors along with intervention in ongoing processing during exceptional system situations
Monitoring processing and failure logs together with the execution of documented operating procedures, runbooks, and escalation guidelines
Escalation and notification of on-call personnel and support teams as well as the coordination and moderation of support and incident bridge calls with technical experts
