Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalation
- Resolve critical incidents escalated from L2, including deep packet analysis, flow diagnostics, and log correlation.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Architecture & Design Support
- Collaborate with network architects on design validation, migrations, and technology refresh.
- Review and approve high-impact changes under CAB governance.
- Change & Configuration Management
- Execute complex changes (routing policies, firewall architecture, SD-WAN templates, QoS strategies).
- Validate post-change performance and security posture.
- Performance Optimization
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for LAN/WAN/WLAN and perimeter security.
- Recommend upgrades and automation strategies for proactive monitoring.
- Security & Compliance
- Administer advanced firewall configurations, VPN setups, and NAC policies.
