Nocturnist position in Nebraska – 144 shifts annually
161-bed acute care facility in in Nebraska Independent, not-for-profit hospital Serves 125,000 population area Open to J-1 visa or H1-B visa sponsorship Join existing Hospitalist Service team Focused on adult inpatient medical care 144 shifts annually – flexible scheduling Located near Grand Island, NE. 90 minutes from Lincoln, NE Responsibilities
Admit, manage, and discharge adult medical patients Lead care team for hospitalist service patients Coordinate specialist consults and patient transfers Collaborate with case management, social services, and utilization teams Ensure timely and accurate EMR documentation (admissions, progress notes, discharge summaries) Maintain billing compliance and accurate coding Communicate effectively with referring physicians Participate in medical staff activities and mentorship Qualifications
MD or DO degree Nebraska medical license Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Facility Features
100+ physicians across multiple specialties 10-bed ICU, 20-bed Behavioral Services Unit, 8-bed NICU Level III trauma center, certified stroke center, cath lab Inpatient rehab, pediatric unit, telemetry, surgical services, and full diagnostics Compensation & Benefits
