Job Description
Testing & Inspection: Perform or oversee inspections to detect flaws such as cracks, corrosion, or weld defects.
Procedure Development: Draft, review, and approve technical NDT procedures, techniques, and methodologies.
Interpretation & Analysis: Analyze data, radiographs, and scans to evaluate findings against acceptance criteria.
Reporting: Document test results, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations for repair or acceptance.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, industry codes (ASME, API, ISO), and company standards.
Equipment Management: Calibrate and maintain specialized testing equipment.
Support & Training: Assist project teams, manage subcontractors, and provide guidance to technicians.
Qualification - Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy with the following experience In Welding & NDT (Non destructive Testing) plus Level-ll.
Experience - 4 to 6 years.
Budget - 6lac to 8lac
