Job Description
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all Procurement deliverable as new products transition from ideation to pilot phase and into mass production with an exceptional level of speed, quality, and performance to exceed customer expectations.
- Be an integral part of each Engineering project team with the resulting product being (a) having parts sourced from preferred supplier/manufacturer, (b) having a BOM and Cap Ex cost that meets business needs, (c) have a supply chain that delivers parts/products that meets market demands, and (d) maximize dual sourcing, (e) ensure material and supplier readiness for key development milestones, (f) eliminate any supply chain issues prior to product released to mass production.
- Helps develop the prototype strategy with the engineering team and associated buyer to help quick turnaround on prototypes. Analyze the tooling needs and costs for a new product.
