NPI Engineer
- Participate design review with providing input and knowledge sharing on manufacturability to product design during development
- Coordinate and lead all new product builds (Prototype, ESL, MSL, Pilot) in an efficient manner.
- Review samples builds readiness at suppliers or SBD plant to facilitate the successful sample builds; Participate the sample build at suppliers or SBD plants;
- Review and approve robust manufacturing process through utilization of PFMEA, SMED & poke-a-yoke principles.
- Review and approve quality assurance equipment and documents (Incoming Quality Control, In Process Quality Control including End-Of-Line Testing, Finished Stock Audit, etc.)
- Highlight any risks and concerns relative to product quality and/or project schedule.
- Organize the completion of the products qualification
- Timely release of engineering documentation (drawings, bills of material, quality critical features, etc.) per need
