Your impact
Reporting to the Engineering & Asset Management Supervisor, in the role of Reliability Engineer – Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) you will be accountable for developing, implementing and continuously improving asset management and reliability strategies for non-process infrastructure assets supporting both site operations and accommodation camp facilities at the Boddington Gold Mine.
Working closely with site fitters, electricians, plumbers and the Site Services team, you will ensure infrastructure assets are safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective across their full lifecycle. This role plays a key part in improving asset performance through SAP-driven data integrity, asset life planning, statutory compliance management and best-practice maintenance strategies aligned to Newmont’s Asset Management framework.
As part of our team you will
- Develop, review and maintain Asset Life Plans (ALPs) for non-process infrastructure assets including buildings, utilities, services and camp infrastructure
- Design and implement asset strategies and reliability-based maintenance plans aligned to asset criticality and lifecycle stage
- Analyse asset performance, failure data and work history to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Optimise maintenance approaches to reduce unplanned downtime, safety risks and whole-of-life costs
Prerequisites for your success in the role
- Demonstrated experience in asset management and reliability engineering within infrastructure, utilities, facilities or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, reliability methodologies and lifecycle planning
- Proven ability to interpret performance data, failure history and work management trends to drive improvements
- Experience using SAP (or similar CMMS) to support asset data integrity and maintenance planning
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across multi-discipline teams
- Understanding of statutory compliance requirements in a site-based operating environment
