Summary You will serve as a Senior Nuclear Engineer in the Nuclear Facilitites and Waste Engineering Division (Code 2380), Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will maintain close liaison with production personnel and resolving technical problems identified during the production Phase of a job. You will prepare, review and approve of off station correspondence to resolve drawing, procedure, or equipment problems, or to propose improvements. You will give on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices. You will prepare, review, and approve technical work and administrative documents in support of reactor plant procedures for technical content, radiological controls, and compliance with all NAVSERA technical and safety requirements.
