Summary You will serve as a NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF on the Space Control Team of PSNS and IMF. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** Responsibilities You will provide review of Technical Work Documents (TWDs) submitted by the nuclear and non-nuclear engineers ahead of work execution for compliance with NAVSEA and shipyard Nuclear Power Manual (NPM) policies You will provide resolution of problems concerning the repair of major components of the reactor plant and propulsion plant system. You will evaluate and resolved deficiencies of the space control program using engineering standards and principles. You will evaluate workload and priority in order to delegate work for execution by space control team members.
