Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist - South of Reno, NV
Connected Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility south of Reno, Nevada. Job Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
Monitor patients during procedures and provide thorough post-procedure instructions
Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment
Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records
Adhere to safety standards for radiation exposure and biohazard control
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics
Education & Certification Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N) – Required
Valid state license in Nuclear Medicine (Nevada) – Required or ability to obtain
BLS Certification – Required (AHA preferred)
1+ year of clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical rotations considered
