JOB OVERVIEW• Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)• Job Type: Locum Tenens• Location: Boise, ID• Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call• Coverage Period: April 6, 2026 – Ongoing• Clinical Shift Schedule: 40 hours per week (8s, 10s, and 12s vary week to week)• On-Call Shift Schedule: 1 weekend call per month and 2 weeknight calls per month• Call Type: In-House / Beeper
• Callback Rate: Per facility call scheduleCOVERAGE DATES• Start Dates Available:• April 6, 2026• May 4, 2026• Contract Length: 6 months to 1 year preferred• Positions Available: Multiple (continuous coverage needed)PATIENT INFORMATION• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics• Patient Volume/Census: Majority of patients age 12+• Admissions: Yes• Rounding: Included• Phone Consults: As required• Case Mix: General surgery, orthopedics, spine, crani, plastics, GI, EP, interventional radiology, MRI, healthy pediatricsFACILITY INFORMATION• No. of Beds in Department: 378• Trauma Level: Level II• EMR System: Epic• Office Equipment Available: OR anesthesia equipment• Specialty Backup Available: Full surgical services• Support Staff Available: Anesthesia technicians and scrub staff• Reason for Coverage: Continuous full-time anesthesia coveragePRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline:• 30–45 days if licensed• 90–120 days if licensing requiredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: CoveredREQUIRED PROCEDURES• Supervision-based anesthesia• Spinal anesthesia• Level II trauma anesthesia• General OR cases (excluding OB, burns, transplants, open heart)JOB REQUIREMENTS• Licenses: Idaho license required (open to licensing)• Board: NBCRNA• DEA: Required• CSR: Idaho CSR required• Certifications: As required by facility• Experience: Minimum 1 year (6 months considered)• Other Qualifications: Comfortable with Level II trauma; supervision model up to 4:1DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties• Participate in scheduled shifts and assigned call coverage• Work within a supervision-based anesthesia model• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR• Comply with facility policies and patient safety standards
