Your Opportunity: We are excited to offer a temporary, 1-year Nurse Practitioner position in Critical Care at South Health Campus designed for graduate Nurse Practitioners wishing to start a career in critical care. The role provides structured exposure to complex, high-acuity patients with emphasis on education, mentorship, and professional growth within the Department of Critical Care Medicine, Calgary. It is designed for learning and offers a protected orientation and residency period with strong mentorship from experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioners and physicians. A gradual increase in clinical responsibility and autonomy is provided, aligned with comfort and competency, within a collaborative environment focused on education and psychological safety.
