Your Opportunity: The Rockyview ICU is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to add to our multidisciplinary team of critical care providers. The ICU Nurse Practitioner is a self-directed advanced practice nurse who functions in a collaborative practice model. This role integrates aspects of nursing and medicine within a multi-professional team setting to provide comprehensive and high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. The RGH ICU Nurse Practitioners currently support Monday – Friday daytime care and coverage, with hours of practice as per determined operational needs. Future development of the NP role will include 24/7 coverage of the ICU and critical care consults on site.
