Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatry
Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Overview:
A large community health center in Fort Wayne is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing team at a brand-new 6,000+ sq. ft. clinic. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.


Must-Have Qualifications:


  • Certified PMHNP in Indiana




  • Current or eligible for Prescriptive Authority in Indiana




  • Experience providing psychiatric care, education, counseling, and emotional support




  • Ability to manage a patient caseload of 20–25 per day




  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with psychiatrists, LCSWs, and support staff


    • Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management




  • Deliver patient education, counseling, and emotional support as part of holistic care




  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes




  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinic protocols and Indiana regulations




  • Support the growth and success of a new clinic location through high-quality patient care


    • Compensation & Benefits:


  • Competitive salary: $136,000 – $155,000, based on experience
