An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to step into the role of Nurse Unit Manager for a ward with a Critical Care focus. This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave position at a private hospital in Melbourne. ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources. The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to complement the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients. You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care. REQUIREMENTSCurrent registration with AHPRA;
