Nursing Educator – Perioperative

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced and highly skilled Perioperative Nurse to provide education, clinical leadership, and expert support across Day Surgery, Anaesthetics, Recovery, and Scrub/Scout services at a private hospital and Surgical Centre located in Orange. This is a permanent part-time role with flexible rostering. As the Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a clinical expert and resource for staff across all aspects of perioperative nursing;

Providing ongoing education, supervision, and mentorship to nursing staff;

Developing and facilitating training sessions, learning activities, and competency assessments;

Collaborating with the Nurse Unit Manager on staff appraisals, audits, and quality improvement initiatives;

Fostering a positive and professional learning culture while maintaining strong relationships with medical and multidisciplinary teams.
