Job Summary
The Rover in Nursing Support serves as a rapid response team member trained as a health unit coordinator (HUC), a transporter, and as an equipment technician in order to be assigned to assist in any capacity in Nursing Support.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
•Serves as a trained HUC that must know an ICU unit, a floor unit, ETMS/Neuro units, EC, FBC, FCU, NICU, and PEDI PICU. Must learn all 22 units to be at maximum usage. Serves as last resort to be used for HUC staffing when there are floating HUCs. When HUCs are floating, will round on these units first to provide assistance.
• Serves as a trained transporter so that they can access the Teletracking system and help during peak times.
