Nutrition Program Leader-Herkimer, NY

This position will serve as the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Leader for Cornell Cooperative Extension Herkimer County that includes supervision / support of EFNEP Nutrition Program educators; fiscal management of the regular and regional data management EFNEP budgets; preparation of required reports; and work with community agencies and organizations along with outreach through social media platforms to promote EFNEP in order to recruit qualified participants to meet established EFNEP caseload goals for Herkimer County EFNEP. This includes coordination and collaboration with regional SNAP-ED staff working in Herkimer County to better serve the needs of low-income families in the county. This position will also be responsible for coordination and management of local foods initiatives.
