Key Responsibilities
Platform Configuration (IBP, DP, SP, S&OE)
- Configure o9’s Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP, and S&OE modules based on business needs.
- Develop Attribute-Based Hierarchies, time bucket profiles, aggregation & disaggregation rules for multi-level planning.
- Build custom planning logic using o9 planning engines, heuristics, and scripting tools (Python/R).
- Perform hands-on system setup, troubleshooting, and configuration changes aligned with functional requirements.
- Lead configuration activities and ensure delivery timelines are met.
o9 Data Model & Planning Engine Design
- Build and maintain master data (products, locations, customers) and key planning attributes.
- Optimize pegging logic, supply allocation rules, constraint modeling, and exception workflows.
- Configure Scenario Manager for complex what-if analysis (demand spikes, production delays, supply disruptions).
Integration & Data Pipeline Management
- Design and validate data pipelines integrating o9 with SAP ECC, APO, IBP, and external data sources.
- Troubleshoot data ingestion issues using o9 Loader and collaborate with IT/Integration teams.
- Manage data quality checks, error resolution, and support cutover & migration activities.
Scenario Management, Analytics & Dashboards
- Develop interactive dashboards using o9 KPI Engine to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory metrics, and service levels.
- Configure exceptions for stockouts, excess inventory, and production bottlenecks.
Testing, Validation & Production Support
- Execute unit, system, integration, and UAT testing for o9 configurations.
- Resolve issues via Service Now and provide L2/L3 support to planners post-go-live.
Documentation & Training
- Prepare technical playbooks, config documentation, calculation logic, and data mapping references.
- Deliver training on Tag UI, Workflow Designer, Scenario Manager for regional planning teams.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience configuring o9 IBP / S&OE modules (Demand360, Supply360).
- Strong experience in IBP, S&OE, Supply Planning in CPG/FMCG industries.
- 2+ full lifecycle implementations of o9 or SAP IBP (including data migration and cutover).
Technical Skills
- o9 Modules: Modeler, Workflow Designer, KPI Engine, Scenario Manager, Data Ingestion.
- Integration Tools: Snowflake, Talend, Kafka, REST APIs, SAP CPI, Oracle OIC.
- Data Modeling: Time-series forecasting, constraint-based supply models.
- Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, or o9 native dashboards.
- Tools: SQL, Jira, Confluence, Service Now.
- Preferred: IBPL scripting knowledge.
Additional Preferred Experience
- Certifications: o9 Solutions, SAP IBP, Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven demand sensing or control tower frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira board management.
Nice to Have (Data Engineering Add-On)
- 3+ years experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of Python, Py Spark, SQL, Airflow, SSIS.
- Familiarity with Parquet, JSON, REST APIs, HDFS, Delta Lake, Hive, Presto.
- Proficiency with version control platforms (Git Hub, Git Lab, Bitbucket).
