Occupational Health Practitioner - RPN

Overview

As a member of the Occupational Health & Safety Department, the OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER (RPN) will work in the Occupational Health Clinic and will practice in accordance with relevant legislation/standards, meeting the legal and ethical requirements of the profession. The principal responsibilities include: coordinating all efforts related to the management of communicable and vaccine preventable diseases, performs all activities to support the efforts to control outbreaks and exposures, provide health care to employees in clinical setting, ensuring employee compliance with the Ontario Public Hospital Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Safety Insurance Board Act, the Ontario Human Rights Code, and other applicable legislations; providing specialized health care; participating actively in Quality Improvement initiatives; performing cross-functional duties as assigned or requested; performing other duties consistent with the ...
