Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Salary: $85,280 - $104,000   PRN/ON CALL

Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

•       Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

•       Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.

•       Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.

•       Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.

•       Assists the patient with tools and treatments for specific patient needs.

•       Maintains confidentiality of patient records.

•       Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment, along with the OT/PT as needed.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

•       Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.

•       One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.

•         Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant issued by the state of California.
