Occupational Therapist (Ergotherapeut)

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to patient goals Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions for physical, neurological, and developmental rehabilitation Facilitate improvements in mobility, self-care, and daily living skills Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment progress and patient records Partner with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians Educate patients and families on therapy objectives, home exercises, and adaptive strategies Utilize assistive devices, adaptive techniques, and rehabilitation equipment effectively Requirements Anabin H+ degree in Occupational Therapy (Indian qualifications preferred due to recognition eligibility) Full professional recognition of qualification in Germany (mandatory) Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in occupational therapy German language proficiency at B2 level or higher Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitation, therapy planning, and patient-centered care Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team environments Preferred Candidate Profile: Empathetic and dedicated to patient-centered care Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Physically capable of supporting patients during movement and therapeutic exercises Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities Prior experience in hospital, clinic, rehabilitation center, or community-based therapy settings
