The Calgary Zone Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Rehab Therapy team works collaboratively with families, infants & care providers in NICUs at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Foothills Medical Center, Peter Lougheed Center, South Health Campus, and Rockyview General Hospital. The NICU Clinical Lead (CL) position involves provision of patient care in NICUs & is required to travel to different sites based on demand for service. The CL is responsible for ensuring that clinical practice within the NICU team is patient-centered, supports best practice, & meets clinical standards of practice. This position requires advanced professional knowledge including support for neonates in an intensive care setting, providing holistic support in eating, feeding, swallowing, positioning, splinting, discharge planning, equipment recommendations, neurological rehabilitation & developmental care.
