What is the job role?
As an Occupational Therapist in Adult Social Care, you’ll play a key role in supporting adults across Coventry to maximise their independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing comprehensive functional assessments for adults with a wide range of disabilities
Designing and delivering personalised therapeutic intervention programmes
Carrying out environmental and ergonomic assessments
Assessing cognitive and functional abilities related to daily living tasks
Undertaking specialist manual handling risk assessments and providing expert advice
Recommending and arranging equipment and home adaptations
Training citizens, carers, and staff in safe and effective use of equipment
Managing your own caseload, reviewing progress, and adjusting goals as needed
