Occupational Therapist School Setting in Arvada, CO

A dynamic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential services within a K-12 school environment. This contract position offers a full school year assignment in the Arvada, CO area, with additional openings being gathered for Fort Collins, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment plans that support student development and educational success.
• Assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and fine motor coordination to identify therapy needs.
• Document progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary to meet student goals.
• Facilitate inclusive practices and adaptive strategies within the school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
• Familiarity with healthcare and home health OT services is advantageous.
• Skilled in designing and executing therapy plans that accommodate diverse student needs.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently in a school environment.

• Primary assignment in Arvada, CO.
