We currently have a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our South Metro home care team.

  • Permanent part-time (0.6 or 0.8FTE)
  • Involving travel across Rockingham, Mandurah, Peel, Erskine and surrounds.

Your role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Complete and manage OT referrals across home and centre-based services
  • Plan and deliver individual or group therapy programs
  • Educate clients on safe use of aids and equipment
  • Collaborate with and supervise Therapy Assistants
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings
  • Travel between Bethanie sites based on service demands
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with client care plans

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring:

  • Full, unrestricted registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in aged care or community services, particularly supporting clients with dementia
  • Strong clinical reasoning and a passion for delivering person-centred care
  • The ability to relate to clients and share knowledge that fosters meaningful change
  • High-level communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and confidence in decision-making
  • Capacity to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for travel across South Metro & Peel region
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of Bethanie
  • Relevant vaccinations and a current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
