Role Overview

We are looking for a Odoo Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development, customization, and support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in resolving functional and technical Odoo queries, working closely with business teams to translate requirements into stable, scalable solutions.

You will play a critical role in improving system efficiency, resolving day-to-day operational issues, and building robust Odoo modules aligned with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements
• Act as a primary point of contact for resolving Odoo-related queries, issues, and system challenges raised by internal teams
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues across Odoo modules (Inventory, Sales, Finance, HR, CRM, etc.)
• Customize existing Odoo modules, workflows, reports, access controls, and dashboards
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes and propose efficient Odoo-based solutions
• Handle third-party integrations and API integrations within the Odoo ecosystem
• Ensure smooth operation, performance optimization, and stability of the Odoo system
• Lead and support Odoo version upgrades and data migration activities
• Perform testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain high code quality
• Create technical documentation and provide user support/training when required
• Stay updated with the latest Odoo releases, features, and best practices

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Odoo development experience (Odoo version 17 or above preferred)
• Strong expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript
• Deep understanding of Odoo ORM, data models, security rules, and access rights
• Proven experience in resolving functional and technical Odoo queries in live environments
• Experience in Odoo customization: reports, workflows, dashboards, and automation
• Familiarity with multi-company and multi-currency setups
• Experience with third-party integrations (payment gateways, logistics, CRM, etc.)

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands on strong expertise on Inventory and Accounting module
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ownership mindset with the ability to handle production issues independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo certification(s) (good to have)
• Experience working on Odoo modules related to Inventory, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, or HR
• Hands on strong expertise on Inventory and Accounting module
• Prior experience supporting high-volume transactional systems
