K&J Construction Ltd. is a family-run construction company specializing in Commercial, Multi-family Residential and Agricultural building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Complete accurate quantity take-offs for materials
  • Assist with preparing estimates and proposals
  • Prepare purchase orders and obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Identify material requirements based on blueprints and project details
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Review project documents to identify discrepancies or missing information
  • Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and city officials as needed
  • Support general office duties including emails, filing, printing, and tracking documentation
