Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete site management for substation projects.
  • Plan and supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and EPC contractors for smooth execution.
  • Implement QC measures and systems at the site.
  • Inspect quality of supplied materials and workmanship.
  • Monitor erection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for compliance with FQP and technical specifications.
  • Witness and certify site tests on electrical equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain daily and monthly progress reports.
  • Review drawings as per contract and technical specifications.
  • Prepare material receipt and handover documents.
  • Ensure material reconciliation and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare electrical bills and reports.
  • Process running RA bills on a monthly basis for company and contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory, safety, and quality norms at the site.
  • Liaise with main EPC contractors, electrical inspectors, and power grid authorities.
  • Check and verify cable schedules as per drawings.

Qualifications

Qualification & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Specialized certification in power systems or protection systems.
  • 15+ years in electrical power system projects, with expertise in protection and control systems.
