Title: OMS Support L2/L3 Engineer

Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design and develop IBM OMS solutions aligning with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of various business processes.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend code to ensure optimal system responsiveness.
• Experience in designing the Sterling OMS Extensions and development of java custom components.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA, GitHub/Bitbucket, Service Now.
• Able to work with teams distributed across locations and time zones.
• Ability to perform multi-tasking and orchestrate the priorities aligning with overall organization
• Help triage, fix high-priority production issues, and support the L1 & L2 teams.
• Experience in customization of Sterling OMS APIs, database, UIs, user exits, agents and building services
• Able to develop and customize OMS Call Center and IBM Store Engagement Application.
• Mentor and train junior Engineers/Consultants in OMS or custom solution development.
• Integrate Sterling OMS with other enterprise systems, third-party applications, and external APIs.
What is needed:
• 6+ years of development/customization experience with IBM Sterling applications – OMS, WebStore and Web Callcenter.
• Experience delivering enterprise solution implementations.
• A good understanding of supply chain concepts and system architecture design.
• Experience in microservice.
• Exposure to OMS NextGen is must have.
Personal experience and Tech skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in programming language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Java, J2EE, Javaspring boot, Javascript, Microservices, Kubernetes.
• Minimum Relevant Experience: 6 years and beyond
Academic Qualifications:
• Minimum Degree Held: Bachelor's degree in computer science/IT, or equivalent education and experience required.
