Power electronic expert leading the On-board charger developments, with end to end responsibility for the complete product lifecycle: concept, specification, development and validation. In-depth knowledge of automotive EV chargers both HW and SW. A qualified electrical engineer with sound knowledge of automotive charger topologies and design, functional safety implementation as well as battery charging strategies.

Lead the development of on-board charger unit based on the vehicle specification.
Manage the On-board Charger unit development project from concept to industrialization.
Propose cost-effective proposal & solutions for the charging platforms ensuring compliance to process checklists for both HW and SW.
Provide design and quality guidelines for prototypes and industrialization. Review schematics, layouts, WCA, DFMEA and all process-related milestones for quality assurance.
Define functional safety goals and their implementation according to ISO or As per ASIL.
Ensure design is as per product requirement and timely completion as per defined targets. Minimize component variations in designs.
Reduce risks through effective DFMEA.
Projects delivered as per Q, C, T parameters
Lead the definition of on-board charger roadmap, strategy and process.
Ensure that designs and investments meet domestic and global market automotive requirements.
Participate to the definition of technologies and research flows needed to develop state-of-the-art chargers.
Investigate new topologies & technology, control algorithms and their suitability for the projects.
Identify key suppliers/partners and potential research collaborations.
Ensure projects delivered as per Q,C,T parameters.
Integrate designs with existing and upcoming vehicle and infrastructure projects.
Innovative designs and IP generation.
Support planning and execution of DVP for the charger On-board/off board Charger and RCA on failures.
Create DVP plan for charger together with testing team.
Support in definition of required tools and testing infrastructure.
Define/improve specification standards for HMCL Charger
Troubleshoot and fix failures from testing activities.
Ensure validation of the components according to company standards or as per agencies.
Ensure flawless integration of the component with the complete system.
Reduce field failures after product SOP.
Manage and lead reuse of existing platforms and design resources to help reduce total development time and investments.
Implement lessons learnt into designs.
Generate and validate a simulation & support for the model for existing & new designs on Mathcad, MATLAB & pSIM, Ltspice, Tina.
Carry out benchmarking on competitor components.
Define required modularity/scalability concepts to achieve flexibility in charger housing designs.
Define an evaluation process to confirm re-use feasibility.
Create a Charger electronics for complete simulation (thermal, mechanical, electrical)
Ensure projects delivered as per Q,C,T parameters.
